That's a really elegant fish, even his nice colour makes me think is he some kind of a Brown Trout? The pose too makes it look like he's diving through some weedy river,(or down a waterfall?!) I also like the fact he's got no dorsal fin, it adds to his sleekness?
Love these.. I've had my finger poised over the "Buy Now" button a few times over these but never followed through...
My thanks to all for the kind love

Thanks Lauren for your fabulous comment & wonderful imagery, this fish definitely looks like he's diving and trout is a good bet, the glassmakers in the 60s were so generic when naming something - what IS an Epic fish lol. Love to see him going down a waterfall!
Kevin I've done exactly the same thing with this fish for years, mostly because it is usually high priced (particularly in green or persimmon color) but finally found one in my range so thought he was long overdue! Thank you for the terrific comment
Nice addition to your collection!
MrsT thank you for your wonderful comment & love, this piece indeed was a great find for my Viking Glass collection, which was my first animal glass figure and is still one of my fave glassmakers
Many thanks poticheman for the kind love & thoughtfulness it is most appreciated
They seemed to have a signature pedestal for their animals, very restrained in shape. That just makes the movement of the creatures so much better.
Fantastic fish Jenni.
Thanks so much Karen for the great compliment & insightful comment, I agree the funnel shaped base here enhances the fish design, almost as if he's perched over swirling water
Many thanks for the love Karen & Bruce it's always totally appreciated
Thanks so much Giana and vcal for loving this Viking amber fish, very glad you liked it & truly appreciate your many loves for my posts
