I don’t know about inside the covers but the graphics outside are great

Ed....the innards are as good as the outards. Do you think the previous owner had the same idea I had about reading them one day when they slowed down? :)

Great post, it brings back memories! I collected and read up to #28 in the series as a kid in the '60s, I loved them. The "Phantom Satellite" you've shown is the consensus best one. They made the original series of Tom Swift in the '20s by "Victor Appelton" and this later series of his son Tom Swift Jr. by "Victor Appelton". Both "Appeltons" are made up names for various authors used, same thing The Hardy Boys, Nancy Drew, etc. did for their series. Interestingly enough the last book in this 2nd series printed in the early '70s is scarcer and a lot more valuable(and desirable IMO) than any book in the first series printed in the '20-'30s.

Thanks Toyrebel for all the information. I do want to read them and I am going to keep looking for more. I bought a bunch of old books the other day like Nancy Drew and such and I will post pictures of them this coming week. The information you provided is fantastic and MUCH appreciated!
