Responding to Manikin (following up on my doll post from 5/10):
    - Thank you so much for your help! My grandmother was Italian, and even spent some childhood years there with her family - it is very likely someone purchased a doll there at some point! There is no voice box in the stomach; both the front torso & back are smooth without any compartments. Her face is definitely faded; even yellowed a bit, compared to the rest of the skin tone. Looking at her arm joints (which are very loose), it almost looks like her body is made of painted plaster of some sort. The hair is indeed very dry. It does look like the hair was sewn onto a piece of pink fabric and secured onto the head. I hope these photos help! I sincerely appreciate your time.

Thank you again! One final question - do you know what might be the best way to clean this doll (primarily her face & arms) without risking wiping away the paint/finish?
