Have had this item for some time. Just wondering it's history, etc. It's pretty cool and sits on my work desk I just call him Pal

Never thought much about the wooden decoy duck, happened to see an article on it and peaked my interest to get info about it.
Looks to be a decorative decoy and not for field use.
Suggest you do some searching online and see what you can find about the maker.
