I love how the mind reacts to these sculptures, almost filling in the detail and movement to give it some life !~
Such a cute piece!
Usually you see bears depicted as 'Mother & Cubs' and what not but this is really sweet, especially the paw around the son. Maybe they're both sitting by the riverside awaiting for a salmon to appear?
Thanks so much everyone for the love

Thanks Ken for the always terrific praise, just as you said I found the father & son pose very endearing and love the grey glass which you usually only see in the Swedish animals for some reason
Phil thank you for your wonderful thoughtful comment, you are absolutely right there are so many ways you can see this sculpture, what are they conveying to each other, are they stranded on an ice floe or rock & the son needs support etc. Love to use the imagination here
Thank you MrsT for the lovely compliment and liking these cute bears, they really are, aren't they I was lucky to find them in a color as they also came in clear glass
Lauren it's true often you see the mother & cub not the father, I really love your picture of them sitting by a river waiting to catch a fish, and the dad's paw is steadying the son so he won't fall in the water! Fantastic compliments thank you so much always
Thank you dlpetersen for the always kind love, it's greatly appreciated & I'm very glad you liked these bears
I haven't seen that one from Bergdala. I really like it lots.
I used to have a single bear on a pedestal from them, it's gone missing over time. I guess the wild called it.
Thanks Karen for the fabulous comment, I think your bear on the pedestal sounds wonderful & hope it shows up one day to show us. This is my first Bergdala I'm so glad you liked it, I have one other by them that is non-animal which I'll post in future
Thank you all for the kind love
