This little piece is decorative. The rectangular base is hand built not molded. Added ornamentation is small thrown pieces. Design makes me think it may be mid century. Anyone out there ever seen similar pieces. Would like to know the artist. It is signed but signature was scratched in the white porcelain, covered with heavy clear glaze and not legible. Any leads appreciated.
