Appears to be some temple bust carving. Heavy - granite? Top chipped off - rest seems intact.
    Appreciate any insight.
    Thx, Mark

Do you know from what country?
      Thank you, Mark

Thx again Congcu. Are these typically original or reproduced? Any idea of age - rarity?
    5. Congcu, 5 years ago
Ritual objects are always in production. Age is difficult to determine when the object is made of stone. The area from where this originated has been ravaged by war for some time now. Could have been looted.

Peshawar is a part of Pakistan!

Islam forbids idolatry which is why many such objects were looted or destroyed.
