Found this really old oil painting in my late aunts basement. It is big and signed M.R.S. (I think thats what the letters are.)

I added a close up picture. It looks like it may be MCS or maybe combined letters LMCS. I don't know lol. It's a mystery.
Lol. It is a hard one to decipher. The place looks like Niagara Falls in the fall/autumn ????
I have been trying to find an artist MCS and found an M Scott. Added a picture of the signature to compare. It's not the same but I wonder if mine could be done by the same artist at an earlier age or something. I don't know who M. Scott is lol.
