We have a treadle Singer machine we are looking to put up for bid or sale and trying to nail down some information. From the serial number, it appears this was from the 1926 series, model 66. But having trouble nailing down the cabinet. Both the 5 and 6 show the seven drawers but says they were embossed. This cabinet is not but can't seem to locate an unembossed cabinet on the site. Does anyone have any insight perhaps? Thanks.

Thanks for the comments. Yes, this was my grandmothers that we have had here at the house and have just never really took the time to learn about it. The inner workings are still amazingly in good shape - they built them to last back then and I just need to replace the belt on it so we can get her rolling again.

That makes sense on the cabinet and especially if you knew her. Not much for frills but i imagine the extra drawers were a plus then.
