These bits and pieces of decorated glass are all similar but very different
Pictures one and two are a little dotty carafe and glasses picture three shows dotty vases and
picture 4 is so called Mary Gregory but are these all enamel decorations and is there
a term that is applied to that dotty decoration

Very nice collection I am partial to the green Mary Gregory which I usually see in red so is green found less often ?

I think what is prevalent in the area you live depends on who made the pieces and where they found their market.
The "Cranberry" colours became fashionable so there was a great deal produced. Green glass was cheaper We see very little blue MG style glass here in Scotland and I have never seen any brown. It was made all over "Bohemia" by several producers but the thing I find fascinating is how Mary Gregory a landscape painter working in cape Cod came to give her name to a European glass style featuring children

Nice group of glass. I live in a town where there are two universities, a four year college, a community college and where three large American corporations once had headquarters, and one still does, so we see things here from all over the world as there was a lot of travel to and from this city, and there still is, though it is only a city of 130,000 people. There is no real theme here for anything. I have found a lot of very interesting things in local thrift shops. For a few years we had a real Japanese sushi bar with imported chefs and workers because we had a Japanese owned and operated auto plant here. Same with Indian food as there are lot of Indian students and workers at the remaining large corporation. Other than that, however, it is pretty bland here.
