If possible, I would appreciate input if the Internet research I did is correct. Emblem (photo 4) appears to be a eagle with wings & tail spread and wearing a crown - which would indicate that this match safe was made by Viennese master silversmith Herrmann Ratzersdorfer (1815-1891). The wording "K.K. Priv" (photo 3) on inside of lid indicates the Austro-Hungarian empire period 1867-1918.
I assume the match safe is silver or silver-plated.
If any members have knowledge regarding this match safe, I would really be interested in hearing from you.
