Hand painted roses on porcelain table lamp

vintage hand painted roses table lamp. Trying to understand what this is. There are pictures online calling it a vintage queens rose Chinese table lamp, a milk lamp, etc. Nothing concrete however and some sales were recorded however I could not find a value.

Really, I have no idea what it is and how to find out. I have come here and posted in the hopes that someone could point me in the right direction as far as where begin researching. I am not looking for a hand out, so to speak , of your knowledge but a clue as to where I might educate myself on what I have found here. I am not a collector. I do like interesting things and I find this interesting. I literally found it in an alley about to be thrown in the dumpster. I feel that I rescued it.
