      Looks like it says INDIA on it to me.

      Looks like a modern tourist item.

      The "INDIA" marking on the blade doesn't bode well for this being being from Africa or having much age.

      I don't mean that in a bad way, India makes and made all kinds of knives, swords and daggers. My intention is get the country right and finding what it is will be easier. Looking in Africa for an India dagger isn't productive.
