I've had this since the late '60s. It came from an estate sale at the time. I know absolutely nothing about it. It was refinished in the '70s but my recollection of its original condition was that it was a dark varnish. I think its mahogany. The front legs are curved, but the back legs are straight. It has two drawers in the front that are curved to match the shape of the front of the table. I've used it as a console table and a desk, but I would love to know what this table might have actually been used for. There are holes in the back of it (not terribly large holes) that indicate to me that there might have been a mirror attached at one time, although there was no mirror on it at the time I bought it. It is solid wood and the drawer joints are dovetailed. I see no markings of any kind on the back or on the underside of the drawers. I would really appreciate any input and ideas.
