Here is a 3 1-4"H x 3 1-2"W yellow glass unicorn from the 1980s by Boyd Glass and given the name Lucky, with B in diamond imprint on lower side

He's lovely! I imagine him sitting in a summery meadow somewhere-actually I think his lovely gold colour helps too :)

So cute, I think I have a couple of Boyd’s, maybe a bear or chicken or something.

Lauren thank you for the wonderful praise & you are so perceptive to envision this unicorn in a summer meadow as I believe Boyd's color for it is buttercup yellow! It was nice to find one of the rare animals and in yellow glass which I do not have that much of was a treat
Thank you Karen for the fabulous compliments and think you've got my number allright - with every post I try for diversity of animal, color & country (the latter I try for a US animal plus another country, or both US if I can still find enough of them), my greatest enjoyment is to have something different to post as I'm always looking to expand the horizon - your thoughtful appreciation is so kind :)
Thanks MrsT for the super compliment and I would love to see your Boyd animals if you can find them, they did make a wide range of glass animals in very pretty colors as well as other nice glass pieces like cars, planes, tractors etc. The colors esp appeal to me as they used the full spectrum when others like Heisey made their originals in clear or frosted transparent glass then only one or a couple other colors
