Can someone please help identify which period this is from. Could it be Shang dynasty? Not very intricate carvings so I reckon it must be a bit older maybe?

Modern reproduction of an archaic chinese ritual wine vessel.
A gu is type of ancient Chinese ritual bronze vessel from the Shang and Zhou dynasties (i.e. 1600–256 BC). It was used to drink wine or to offer ritual libations.
