Found a tiger maple dresser and I am wondering if anyone has an idea on when it was made?
Haven’t seen the horizontal spindle on the leg before. Hathaway furniture was a New York department store from the 1800s to the early 1900s.
Any guidance would be great.
Based on the style, I'd think this is from approx. 1920- 30s.
Did a quick check and found an article about the company selling a building in 1956-- not sure if it was tied to a projected closing, but they were still in business at that time.
