This was in a box labeled "TE-401 Ear Phone Attachment", but Google research has come up empty. It's 3/4" Diameter, so I wouldn't fit in an ear....maybe a headphone? Any info would be appreciated!

It probably used to have a little plastic/rubberish 'earpiece' on it, which would have allowed it to be stuck in one's ear to listen to something else...?? Nifty thing one way or the other! :-)

Thank you, AnythingObscure! I found a plastic earpiece in the bottom of the box (see new pic) and it fit right in there! I suppose it was an accessory to a vintage ESP LTD TE-401 Electric Guitar - there just isn't any evidence of it on the web. I'll send LTD an email and see if they can shed a little more light on it. Thanks again!
