When I was growing up, this Coro link bracelet was in my Mom's jewellery box and I remember as a little girl being completely dazzled by it. It's 7" long, goldtone, with 7 emerald-green rhinestones. The clasp is marked "Coro" in script. It's fairly heavy for its size.

I have no idea how old this bracelet is. My mother had it in the 1960s; I have an idea it dates from the 1950s, but that's just a notion as I know very little about Coro.

I've never seen another like it, or any companion pieces, so if anyone can share any information, I would be most grateful as I treasure this bracelet!

Gorgeous Coro bracelet, the floral design and emerald green rhinestones are really lovely. The upward slant Coro mark was used in the 40s and 50s so your idea was right. Thanks for sharing & welcome to CW :)

Newfld, thank you for your kind welcome, and also for the information on the Coro mark - very much appreciated! I love this place already so I'm sure we'll see each other around :) Thanks again.

      You mum had good taste!
You probably thought this was real gold and emeralds as a kid. That's what I did when little but I wasn't disappointed as I got older and found otherwise. By then I appreciated Mum's pieces for what they were and the association with her.
      It's lovely.
I have learnt so much here on CW from people like Jenni. They forgive my ignorance!!

Aww, thank you <3 I did think that! But like you, I wasn't disappointed to learn otherwise. To be sure, it is as precious as real gold and emeralds to me :)

My mother's home was once burgled (luckily she was out at the time). The thief made off with a couple of valuable jewellery pieces - but not this, nor her Sherman rhinestones. Thank goodness the burglar didn't care for "mere" costume jewellery!

Ms.CrystalShip, thank you so much for that tip on the costume jewellery site, and for the info on the bracelet's age! I had no idea it could date as early as 1940. My mother could have been very young indeed when she first owned it, if she got it at the early end of the date range. She was just emerging from her teens then. A very different mental picture than the one I'd had. I'm glad she had something so pretty in her earlier years, which I know were somewhat straitened.
And again, thank you for the kind welcome <3 See you around soon, I hope!

Somehow I've missed this post of yours. A very nice piece, beautiful. One thing is that Coro produced many beautiful ads and I have posted some at one time. Just look under search here !

PhilDMorris, thank you for your note! What a great idea to look through Coro's ads. I took a look through the Coro ads posted here, and also did a Google search. I haven't found this specific bracelet (yet!) but enjoyed looking at other pieces as depicted in period advertising. Maybe I'll get lucky and find this one someday. Cheers!

The emerald rhinestones are so beautiful against the luxurious goldtone.
The photography is tip top professional as well.
