That's a really lovely feminine pink, it's so serene and calm- it's like rose quartz(one of my favourite crystals!)
A fine looking owl! Very Nice!!
Pretty in Pink!
Who doesn't love an owl.
This is another lovely piece from your extensive glass menagerie Jenni.
Thank you to everyone for the owl love

Ken thanks a mil for the fantastic compliments, it's always wonderful to hear praise for my "quartet" choices :) This owl also came in a variety of colors but I have so few pink glass animals I chose him, and glad I did!
Thanks Lauren for the super compliments and yes this color does bring to mind rose quartz which is such a lovely stone. It is a nice pale pink though I had to watch that the texture would show up in photos as I took them on a bright sunny afternoon
Thank you Hoot for the warm praise, I am very pleased you liked this bird my owl expert friend, that means so much to me. Hope you will be glad to know I've acquired some nice owls in both jewelry & glass for future posts as I love these birds myself - my very favorite is the white barn or snowy owl, saw one recently on a wildlife doc they are just beautiful up close
Thanks iggy for the great compliment, it is always a treat for me to find a vintage glass animal in pink, the happy color that always brings a smile! I found a pair of lt blue & pink birds that I am saving for a romantic Valentine's Day post as they are my fave V Day colors
Aw Karen thanks so much for your sweet words, I'm so glad you love owls too. Speaking of a glass menagerie, there was a Broadway show & later a movie with that title in the 50s or 60s, and one of the US glass co's provided the glass animals for the girl's menagerie, I have to investigate further and see if some of them still survive
I remember the play Jenni, I think I studied it in High School, so it's old :)
It's an old classic Karen I didn't study the play just saw the movie yrs ago on TV, just slightly remember the girl never went outside she just loved her glass animals - this almost describes me since the homebound orders it's been a LONG 3 mos, hubby has just been called back to work AT LAST, too much togetherness is rather stifling when there's nothing to do lol!
Thanks so much BB2 & Leah for the kind love and support I am truly grateful & glad you liked this owl
Many thanks LovelyPat for the thoughtful love I am so glad you liked this pink owl
Thank you jb for the thoughtful love it is most gratefully appreciated my friend
