Obviously I am still pursuing this popular category of glass, made in lots of glass houses, in different styles, from very early 20th to WWII.

Here I want to show the pedestal feet on pressed glass clear vase by Tiffin, and molded tango glass by Harrach, you can see that the point of the base is perfectly formed, and the hot joint of the molded vase has some slight variations.

Tiffin is crystal with a lovely floral application of sorts, the other molded vases are hand decorated with silver deposit, garland of gilt and arabesques band, and colorful vertical floral designs.

Outside my area of course Lisa, but I am interested in these in relation to Japanese knock offs.
That red moulded one has a base I've seen before :)))

Thanks Karen, I am developing an interest in this particular aspect of designs at the same time period but from many different countries. Those International Exhibitions had a lot to do with how this process occurred.

I think it's neat when you see catalog pages from various places with the same type of goods. Japan was one country who had a wide variety of ceramic production inspired by others like the Japan Gouda Designs.

Of course, there is a big hole in my Japan glass knowledge, believe it or not, I did not think they had a glass industry.... :-)
