I just received this piece , this afternoon. It was going to be thrown out and I'm so happy that I was there to save it .
I have most of the info about the company that made the cabinet . I'm planning on giving it a good clean , and just get the years of dirt off it before doing anything else. I'm thinking this piece was made in the 1900-1920's. It is in three section,s on a base and with a top piece that just fit,s on top snugly. So 5 pieces in total.
But I was curious as to the drawer pulls, I haven't been able to find any others that have that crest and motto engraved into every solid brass shell pulls .
It's a lion rampant circled and with Labour Saving Office Devices written, in the circle . On the ribbon under the circle has the motto "Time is Money" and on top of the circle it says Trade Mark.
Has anyone ever seen these before ?? Any more info would be great ! Thank,s
It is INCREDIBLE!
