Just acquired this piece yesterday. I've learned about the Comp that made the cabinet origanally.
But it's the drawer pulls that I'm really interested in, because I haven't haven't been able to find out any info about them ..
And I've never seen a pull with such a Crest and motto on it before. I Can't find anything about them at all.?
Did the company have them shipped up to Toronto from the State's or shipped from England . ?
It's a beautiful crest with a lion rampant with a circle around it , in the circle it says Labour Saving Office Devices.
Under the crest is a ribbon with the motto " Time is Money " on it .
Over the circle it says Trade Mark with a tiny symbol or perhap's it's a tiny beaver lol !! Now that I can see it more clearly !!
Any information would be great , they are so beautiful .

Saw this whilst searching. Yes that definately a drawer pull from "The Office Speciality Mfg Co Ltd" and it's a beaver on the top between the words TRADE and MARK. The company had a manufacturing plant just north of Toronto. Here is a link to a local newspaper article about the factory.
