I'd love more information on this vase. Initially I thought it was Noritake but ive since been advised otherwise. All help is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

The only info I could find was that this stamp was for goods likely made for Liberty and Co. who imported a lot of Japanese china to England around the turn of the 20thC.
Certainly it would be before around 1921 as that is when Nippon was replaced with Japan on exported goods.
If you search L&Co in images you will see similar well made and hand painted wares.

Hello, this is a very interesting piece of Nippon porcelain, I used to collect this too eons ago. As far as the mark, it's not one of the more well known marks.

I don't believe it is for the Liberty & Co England retailer, as the mark was used for USA exports, the UK did not require a mark for imports.

I checked 2 sources of reference materiel, Kovels, and they do not show a L & Co mark, and my Nippon collector reference book does not either.

Another source would explain that when you find a UK export, the word FOREIGN was used as a mark. Those were in the early days of the 20th century.

Thank you so much everybody for your responses, this one has me stumped! I might pay to have it valued as I really have no idea and my research hasn't come up with much information. Thank you for taking the time to comment, it's been really helpful.
