One of the first things I have bought since the lockdown began some moths ago is this clown paperweight. It was thrown in to get a sale by the dealer on another figure that I wanted. He had no idea that it had a sticker bearing UNO Westerberg’s name. The Pukeberg sticker is missing. To be honest I know little about Westerberh. In 1935, Uno Westerberg started to work for Pukeberg. He left the firm in 1978. This will be from the later period I suspect. Weighty. Has its own charm. Unsigned .... U. W. sticker.
H: 6 inches or 15 cm.

He did the viking figures didn't he? I think I had an owl once designed by him, and it was like this, quite lumpy with lots of personality.
I like this clown.
Yeah, Karen! The Viking I have seen many times here in Oz. This one is perhaps not so common.

Very nice and unusual.I had to blow your pictures up to get a good look at it as my parents who are in there late 80’s have a old porcelain clown that’s very similar to this.It’s real old that belonged to my grandmother that has 3 buttons on the coat with a frilly collar and the exact same hat.It also has a wide smile just like this.I’ll see if I can find it when I go over there and post a picture of it.

All is OK in Sydney. Has been raining all day and it has finally decided to stop round midday. I live across the way from a pop up virus testing centre and the line up outside has been consistent all morning despite the rain. Complacency has turned to concern. Our state has recorded just 51 deaths with 3,300 cases in total so far. Very concerned about about an outbreak in a neighbouring state. Hope all is well with you too.
