Hello friends! I hope to find more information on this set of sterling silver miniature spoons. There are no hallmarks, but the inside of the bowl is stamped with what appears to be "STERLING 950". I cannot confirm that "STERLING" is actually what it says - the second pic is the clearest example of the 5. If anyone can share their spoon knowledge regarding possible age, maker, name of design on handle, etc. it would be greatly appreciated. Note that spoons are 3-3/4" long and weight about 1/2 ounce each. Thank you!

Cannot be Sterling 950 because sterling is 925 fineness (92.5% silver in the alloy).
More likely the name of the country e.g. Thailand.

Not to worry-- if it is actually "950" it is higher quality than sterling.

Don't recall which but there was a country (maybe a few) that had .950 as their standard.

.950 standard was used in France (1re titre),Japan,Switzerland,Netherlands prior to 1814,Hungary, Yugoslavia,Bulgaria, Romania, less common than lower standards, though. Probably in Far East and South America, too, but not well legislated as in the above mentioned countries.

Is it possible that's a 900 instead? 900 would be coin silver. 950 is a pretty rare stamp.
