I don't see much US glass here Jenni so I love seeing your animals from your country.
Are Mosser still in production?
Cat figurines and sculpts are great aren't they? I love them for their sleekness and I adore yours, her pose is very attentive and alert, like she's spotted a bird of course! :D
Many thanks for the kind love all

Thanks Karen for the wonderful comment & I'm so glad to share some examples of US made glass animals, just as I love to see your fantastic collection of Japanese glas esp your beautiful animals! Mosser Glass is indeed still in production and continues to make a variety of new animals, but on this site I try to only show their vintage designs unless it is a reissue (for example, a couple of their red glass horses I own were made in 2001 but are Heisey reissues from ca 50s or so), I found a beautiful cobalt labrador dog by them but alas, it was a newer make
Lauren thank you for the super compliment and I must concur the cat sculptures have a sleek look and definite charm, when they are sitting I love how the tail curls around. This one most definitely looks like she has seen a bird with those upturned eyes, let's hope the bird can get away in time!
Many thanks BB2 for the kind love and support, I am always so glad when you enjoy my glass animals

Is this for sale?
Sorry this one is not, but they are usually found online try a google search
interestingly, I recently came across this cat in an old Lancaster Glass catalog c1916 or so; named 'Tom Cat"

You're right TallCakes very similar design, perhaps Mosser's inspiration. It probably inspired other small glass sitting cats incl by Orrefors and Lalique, it's such a cute pose
