Here is a 4 1-4"H tonal beige glass meerkat accented with brown striping and dark mask-like eyes. From the glass animal series by Paul Miller of the 1980s with his name etch signed on bottom, for Langham Glass with their orig labels
The correct level of alertness has been achieved!
Who would have ever thought of making a glass meerkat?! Seriously, his colour and little black eye patches make him look all the more real and adorable and the fact he's adopted the sentry pose too! :P
Fun! My wife and I have a garden statue of a Meerkat family of three. Nice!
Laughed right off when I saw the 1st image, what an attitude.... thanks for posting Jenny.

Lol Karen, he is guarding the mob!! This is why I find this breed so cute, the way they always stand at attention and are very aware, it's cute. Thank you for the wonderful fun comment
Lauren I absolutely agree, who ever would think they would make a glass meerkat and it's a really good image of them, I was so glad to find a different type animal to show here (and also for my display cabinet which is nearly done, it's a lot of work!). Thank you for the always fabulous insightful comment
Thanks Ken for the super compliment, he is pretty great I thought, very creative design from Langham they have a lot of variety in animals and I really like them
Leah thank you for the lovely compliment I'm glad you thought my animal posts were good today, I try to always have a variety so as not to be boring, and do my best to take good angle pix of them
Hoot your meerkat trio statue sounds great, that is more realistic to show a few of them together as they love to huddle in groups! Thank you for the kind words & I'm glad to find another meerkat fan here
Ha Lisa I know, there is something so funny and silly about these animals that although they are so skinny, they're almost always standing up erectly, nature is really incredible. I hoped everyone would get a laugh seeing this animal & I'm very glad you got my intention, thank you!!
I think this is the first glass meerkat that I have seen. It is very nicely made!
Many thanks everybody for the meerkat love
