      Look like late 20th century, solid wood furniture.

      Not big ticket item-- take a look at 2nd hand stores to see what they bring in your area.

      Probably easier to paint than to refinish.

      I agree that it would be easier to paint. However, a refinishing would result in a good piece of furniture. Most new stuff is particle board based.

      I have the same bedside table, a chest of drawers, dresser, and king bed to match it. They're very sturdy pieces of furniture. I'm delighted to see that you have some of the set too! To the best of my knowledge it's from the 1970s.
