I was told this was a native Northwest basket. It is beautiful and so well made. It stands 7.25" tall. I would love any info. Thank you

      Southwest, not Northwest.

Typical Pima, from southern Arizona, based on the coiled willow foundation with devil's claw stitching, the black circle start in the bottom, the herringbone rim finish, and the stylized fret design pattern, a combination of material and technique not found in any traditional Northwest baskets.
