After many months, some of my favorite thrift stores started to open and I have started carefully and slowly to buy unique and unusual items again. I am not sure if this vase falls into this category, though. The vase is in excellent condition except for some wear on the bottom. I found two very similar vases on line, just in a different colour combination. One seller just listed it as pretty art glass spatter vase and another called it Vintage Fenton Northwood Art Glass Spatter Vase Murrhina Basketweave. I have checked out some Fenton vases and don't think that mine is Fenton. I am also not convinced about Northwood but I am not knowledgeable about glass in general.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for looking:)
It's 1898 Legras spatter glass. Here's a link to the original catalog page:

Gkad to help! It's a very nice size too, and a great find!
Beautiful rainbow colors, nice find!
Broochman, thanks so much for your comment and love. I really appreciate it:)
so nice it does not matter the origin
Thanks for your comments, Newfld and kivatinitz. I found two pieces I was interested in. One was Polish glass, relatively modern and I was familiar with the maker, the other one was this vase. I told my husband that I was going to buy only one (he loved this idea because I have too much stuff standing around) and he suggested the Polish one. But I like a mystery and went for this one. I don't like pink but several people in the store commented on how beautiful this vase was. So I thought, they can't be all wrong. Maybe it is pretty. I am glad I went for this one now:)
Many thanks for the love, Brunswick, charcoal, Watchsearcher , and Broochman :)
Many thanks, Newfld, kwqd, fortapache, and Maryjo:)
