OH YEAH -- least anybody would have suspected otherwise, OREO is prolly gonna ultimately end up being *my* dog... <sigh><bewilderment><headdesk> where she continues to provide me untold amounts of sweetness and affection -- especially around early evening when its time for her walk around the block...that whole "temporary backyard resident" thing is failing miserably BTW.... <lol>
These pics after yesterday evening's walk, while relaxing/playing in the front yard. There's better grass there (if slightly overgrown at the moment) than in the backyard. Pic 2 is her sorta rooting around in it, #3 is her trying to show me what she *really* wants to be (a lap puppy, that is) and #4 is her likewise doing the same with my partner while also getting some belly scritchin's. :-)
We all sat out there for an hour or so enjoying the perfectly comfortable evening weather until the sun mostly went away...Missy and the other 4 (!) boxer-mix puppies that still live 2 doors down were all out and loose too, they kept their distance even if also keeping Oreo's attention. Oh, and there was a **SQUIRREL** that happened thru causing a small ruckus for a moment... <LOL>
She’s absolutely beautiful...and her heart-shaped black nose just makes her that much more adorable!
I think we all want you to keep Oreo now AO.
How could you not!
After another walk/drag around the block this evening keramikos, then another hour or so sitting in the front yard, she's seemingly just as *happy as h*ll* as ever, me too. T0nite's spell sitting out front resulted in a little more random 'tongue action' than immediate past days...Woda kitty might not appreciate all that extra smellage by the time I (shortly) go crawl into my bed where he'll likely join me to curl up and snooze for the nite...he'll get used to it eventually... <lol>
Oh, and in the meantime I've also given notice to Oreo's 'technical' owner that I want copies of any papers she came with, and that one way or the other Oreo is most likely gonna be *my dog* from here on out no matter what 'owner girl' thinks about it...after all, she dropped Oreo in *MY* backyard from the git-go because she apparently didn't have any other place to do so...that wasn't my fault...
<groan><smile><LOL>
Yeesus...do I *really* need a dog in my life now, too??? <headdesk>
