      Nice tiger oak piece.

Believe you have a sideboard or buffet and not a dresser due to the size and two doors at the bottom.

Looks great-- like it was well cared for.

This type was popular from the 1890s- about 1920.

A tag or label (check on back and in drawers) may narrow the date.

It *is* gorgeous Emilymarienoelle -- I love its detail (esp. the feet!) as well as the spectacular woodgrain. History of old furniture like this is often difficult (at best) to discern with certainty, but CONGRATS to your roommate and you for making sure it continues to be loved and well cared for!!! <applause> :-) :-) :-)
