    I don't yet have a clue what this little thing really is, beyond what it is labeled as and with the presumption that it's something that (small?) aircraft pilots can or do use to plot their flight plans. (or whatever pilots do besides just driving the airplane...??)

    Its (probably formerly clear, now yellowed) frontside identifies it as such and includes all sorts of various scales/angles/etc that must represent something -- again to somebody who otherwise knows how to fly a plane, which would NOT be me...?? <giggle>

    It is a little over 13" long and about 4" wide across its round part.

      I used one yrs. ago flying, but technology has moved on and I don't remember how to use one. Not planning on relearning either.
