Half moon unglazed ceramic “wall ornament”

This unglazed ceramic half moon “ornament” is something I bought at a thrift store about 10-15 years ago for a pittance.
I love a bit of whimsy (ok...maybe more) in my home decor. I think it’s perfect hanging on the door of my guest bathroom.

I’ve done a couple of unsuccessful checks on Google looking for one like it with the “OP” initials or logo on the back. My first thoughts were of Ocean Pacific but their initials don’t have the fancy swirls. Maybe they are the initials of the person who created the piece and are not a company logo.

It measures 7.5” X almost 6”.
It has a rough texture, especially on the front. There is a hole for hanging it so I added the leather cord.
