Lol Hoot he is certainly a sunny centrarchid (had to wiki that, thanks for keeping me on my toes I always love to learn)! I think he will be named Sunny from now on :) Thank you for your super kind praise & smile
Ken this fish came in many, many colors but I wanted a red one & the golden amberina touches were a bonus! Thank you for the great compliments
Thanks Lori for the lovely compliment I am really glad you enjoyed the bright colors on this guy too - in real life from photos they look rather a dull yellowish green, so nice that Fenton made some fantasy colors
MrsT thank you and I agree, Fenton did a good job here esp with the detail, sculpting the fins & body so lifelike. Appreciate your wonderful kind words my friend
It's a fiery little creature. Love the gorgeous swirls and iridisation.
What can't Fenton do with glass? not much!
Always grateful for the kind love

Supreme thanks Karen for your great compliments, I agree totally that Fenton was one of the very best at carnival iridized glass, and their color variety was really spectacular - it makes it hard to choose between the transparent and iridescent very often. Also saw this in jadeite, a light green sort of milk glass which was very nice & perhaps a bit more natural like the actual fish
He's beautiful!...I used to beg my poor grandmother to let me visit every single pet shop in town just to view lovely fish like this- I was fascinated with their flowing fins and round compact little bodies that were yet so elegant too. Yours would look lovely in a bathroom window with the setting sun behind him.
Thanks so much Lauren for your terrific compliments & love, again you have stirred my imagination as I too recall loving to visit pet shops and look at the colorful fish, and I think we are both remembering seeing the betta or Siamese fighting fish, this looks alot like one of those! I used to buy one once in awhile, didn't have an aquarium just a fish bowl, anyway you could only keep one at a time as they fight & kill each other (you have to wonder about how they mate, right). It's very good advice to put this in a sunny window, it does have sunset colors
Many thanks Cokeman for the love, I am very grateful to you for your kindness & pleased you enjoyed this Fenton fish
