Instead, much more of a contemporary (dare I even use that term I don't really much care for "steampunk"??) pendant a couple inches long, made of steel (something magnetic anyway) and no doubt styled to resemble being crafted from antique 'square nails' with a little bit of bare copper wire kinda artfully (?) wrapped around its midsection 'cross'.

It doesn't take more than a 2nd glance to discern that no actual antique square nails were sacrificed for its production -- it is simply "made to look that way". That wrapping of copper wire might just be there (beyond its 'artistic' purpose) to help hide the fact that that 2nd glance reveals there's absolutely no attachment of (parts of 2 or 3) old nails about it anywhere under there, its 'cross part' seems to have been molded/stamped in one piece (*maybe* the hanging loop being attached later, or maybe just further machined?) before the copper was added.

Nonetheless, I think it's sorta fun. A friend of mine recently gave it to me after I noticed it laying on his coffee table and remarked about it -- his response was along the lines of "you want that? take it -- somebody just left it here and I think it's gaudy"... <lol>
