The circus theme is very evident this week- the little clown brooch is really well designed. The deep navy blue colour is lovely too and even for a coulrophobic like me he's still very cheerful looking

Thank you Lauren for the fabulous praise & appreciation of my circus themed posts, yes it seems summertime and 4th July remind us of clowns, I remember as a kid finding them funny (Bozo was a TV show here with a clown as the star, all kids loved that show) then later being rather suspicious of these men hiding their face behind the greasepaint lol. But the cute ones still remind me of happy clowns & I'm very glad you liked this brooch too!

Thanks MrsT for the super compliments, I thought these guys made a cute combo as they're both wearing hats! The vintage aqua glass clown was from an auction, the site threw this piece at you with minutes to go and it was so reasonable I had to bid & won it, I esp loved his balloons & the color

Thanks fort for your great comment & yes it's true Mosser is the last of the US glass companies, they make beautiful pieces and even reissue many of the older ones. In the case of their glass animals I try to only post their older or retired ones as this is a vintage site, but they still make lovely new ones like a labrador dog, he's gorgeous

Thanks Kevin for loving my 4th of July clowns, I remember summer holidays going to the circus, and my fave parts included going backstage to visit the animals before the show - it was a bit smelly but fun for a kid lol!
