Guerlain L’Heure Bleue parfum bottle in box. It measures just over 4 3/4 inches tall to the top of the stopper.
Ever since I read a 1924 interview regarding a female cousin who was a famous playwright, I have wanted one of these from the 1920s. In the article for Women's Weekly, she stated the following:
"....Chypre and L'Heure Bleue are two of my favorite perfumes and I go to Paris to haunt the perfume houses to buy large quantities..."
I was happy to find this bottle and it looks great displayed.
What a lovely vintage perfume bottle. I love the inverted heart stopper
So classy & fabulous! The bottles that Baccarat created for Guerlain are legendary indeed - what a super addition to your collection!

Thank you for the wonderful comments!
Your post reawakens memories of my mother, you had a very sophisticated taste for a middle class French Canadian mother of four, Guerlain was one of her brands of perfume, I am not good at names memory wise, but I do appreciate these posts you show.
It feels like familiar territory for me. Thanks vintagelamp. :-)
truthordare,
Items that awaken pleasant memories are always the best posts and I am so happy that this item reminded you of your mother. When I read the article about this being my cousin's favorite perfume I was hopeful to find the bottle at some point in time. There is actually some scent left in the box, which is an added bonus!
Great to hear from you, as always!
