The Dog N Suds franchise was a very popular place in this town. My neighbor owned this Dog N Suds for over 20 years. He sold the franchise and it was around for several more years. The location of the Dod N suds was sold to Casey's General Store. My neighbor
retrieved the sign and placed in his back yard.

I've only eaten at a DogNSuds one time. Ours was on the upscale side of town, rival high schools, etc. On our side of the tracks we had an A&W and a couple of SteakNShakes. I don't think either one had phones for ordering. In the town where I live now there was a diner that had phones in every booth, so you ordered from your table and the waitress brought your food to you. I don't recall the name of the diner, though. Gone now...
So many good eating places are gone, Dog N Suds was a fun place to eat at. The only place like DNS is Sonic drive in
