Found this years and years ago. There is a lot of research into this so bare with me.

I live in an area where the Potowatami tribe was located, I had found and old potawatami journal translated on a site and it spoke of a crafting cliff, a place where they made stone tools overlooking what is now little cedar creek.

I set off and looked at the topographic map on google earth, and after about a week of going to different areas it could be I finally found a beyond vertical bluff overlooking the river. I searched for about twenty minutes and found this beauty.

It is moon/crescent shaped, sharp tip on one end to possibly shape arrow heads? Other end has a large indent. Very ergonomically worn down, you can feel the indents of where every finger goes holding the tool either dorection.

Another trip I went to the top and found 5 or 6 large boulders with holes/divets with rock shavings surrounding them used to carve.

I am really hoping to get some answers as to what it is and its use. Thank you!

There are a lot of impact cracks on the tip, definitely water worn down as I did find it in the water after all. Thank you both for the information! Will be going hunting again soon!!
