    Several cw members have uploaded photos of paintings, which they believe (or hope) to be art, although they're obviously made in 10 minutes in some 'decorative painting factory' and given a fictive signature, possibly in The Far East. In comparison I show you an example of a piece of real art from my own collection. It's a 'trompe l'oeil', oil on canvas, 33.0 cm x 46.5 cm, monogram signed by Sophie Ernestine Henck (1822-1893), probably from 1880-1890. It's so skillful painted that the fruits look like they're falling out of the canvas. It must have taken her months to complete this master piece. On the sec. photo you can see what she looked like in 1863. I know of no other photos of her.
