Found at the Battle of Hoengseong in South Korea, is it possible this is American?

I found this while metal detecting near the Battle of Hoengseong grounds in South Korea. Besides many other American war relics I found this small (belt?) buckles. I hope anyone can help me identify it, where it's from, who made it, and if it's possibly a Korean War relic.
