Your dolls’ faces, hands, hair and some other features are consistent with a doll I made for my little sister in the 1960s.
Amazing, she kept the doll all these years and returned it to me a few years ago when she was de-cluttering her in preparation for moving.
Look like we’re on the right timeline, Thanks All! Love my Collectors Weekly Family!!
Gotta agree with keramikos and Watchsearcher -- this pair reminds me greatly of numerous similar-ish 'Raggedy Ann and Andy' dolls my own Mother made for my sisters (mostly?) when we all were otherwise mostly rugrats. I remember several being around, one pair was kinda oversized (maybe a couple feet tall?) and might have been actually "purchased" (though I tend to think not) but all the rest were no doubt products of Mom and her sewing machine, with whatever scraps of fabric she had handy to work with.
I don't know where any of them might now be if they even still exist, but if so I'd bet they're in one of my nieces' bedrooms somewhere...?? :-) :-) :-)
These are wonderful homemade dolls from patterns and or kits sold . I am thinking 1940s-50s . Lots of love goes into a Mom making these for her child :-)
Thanks Too All, Manikin much Appreciated my sister.
