I've had "The Pickle" for over 40 years. It was given to me by my grandmother when I was a baby. It was manufactured by Worcester Toy Company in Worcester, Mass. I have tried looking on-line to find out as much as I can, but the only thing close I can find is the Heinz Ketchup riding toy.

Todd...I've done several google searches looking for info on the Heinz Pickle but the only thing that I've found is pics and info on the ketchup bottle. I do know the pickle and ketchup bottle were manufactured by the same toy company...

My dad picked one up exactly like this in 1972, while my mom was still pregnant with me. Until now, I had never seen another like it. It is still in pristine condition and is loved by MY 2 year old son.

I had the Pickle when I was a kid. From what I learned from my mother, they were riding toys sold in grocery stores as promotional items. My parents bought the Pickle and the Ketchup riding toys as a pair. I inherited the Pickle when they outgrew it. The Ketchup riding toy didn't survive. If anyone is looking to sell there's, contact me. I'd love for my son to have one.
