      The design pattern is in the style of a pre-Columbian pot, from Peru. The stylized bird head, seen in the second photo, and on the lower band of the first photo, is a distinguishing feature of Peruvian Nazca pottery.

      Whether it's actually that old, or a more recent reproduction (which I would suspect it is, based on the form itself) can't really be determined from a photo, and would require a hands-on examination by someone who specializes in that area.
