Hi! I just recently discovered I had been handed down my great grandmother's doll. From my research, it looks like this is an Armand Marseille doll but the majority of the info I have been able to find is on 370 and 390 doll molds and I believe this doll to be a 248. Just was hoping for a bit more information on her and was curious if the 248 marking makes her any more especially rare or unique? Thanks so much for any information or comments!
Hi your doll is a character face and yes it is a Armand Marseille doll mold 248.
The 390s-370s were the most common molds they made and over a very long period of time and they are called dolly face dolls . Yours a character face toddler /baby . Not rare just as not as abundant as the other 2 . She/he can be either is wonderful and the clothes may be original to doll .
Thanks so much! I really appreciate the response and info!
