This is my Daisy model 94 made in Plymoth Michigan in 1957. I got it that year for Chrismas when I was 12 years old. Just like in the movie A Christmas Story, my mom said " Donn`t shoot your eye out:. I moved 35 years ago to the Canadian north to live in a log cabin on an island and left this BB gun behind. My brother had it and left it in an outdoor steel shed. A few years ago he brought it up to me and it was completely rusted from top to bottom with heavy pitting. It took a whole week to sand it by hand The plastic stock was badly warped and it would only shoot about 20 feet. A few years ago I decided to bring it back to life. I made the stock and forearm in a design I took from My 1922 Marlin Model 39 .22 from some birch firewood that I use to heat my cabin in winter. It took 3 trys to get the right angle, but never gave up. I made the saddle ring from a brass rod and added a brass hammer. I also made a steel buttplate for it, and blued the metal rather than paint it. I removed the stock and filled the end full of oil for a day.It now shoots farther than my new 39b. Last photo is my collection, with rare mint Buffalo Bill, never shot. A 1988 Red Ryder never shot. A new 1938b which I added a hammer to it. They look so much better with a hammer. And my model 94 which is my favorite. Hope you all like it.
