Want to know if anybody can tell me anything about the figurine in these pictures. I would like to know the approximate date it was manufactured. , the country of origin and the name of the company that made it. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi & welcome to CW. Your lovely figurine is German Dresden, made by the Volkstedt porcelain co (aka Aelteste Volkstedter, see Porcelain Marks & More website) of Thuringia Germany. The mark was used after 1945

Thank you for the information. I have two more questions
      1. When searching online is there a particular category 0r style of Dresden I should be searching.
2.The cord has been cut of should I have it rewired.
As you may have guessed I am totally clueless about this, so any help I get is greatly appreciated
