Over a year long project to restore a 1946 Indian Chief for my son Brandon. Total frame off restoration , bike, motor , and transmission rebuilt by myself, and my son. Next one is a 1947 Mag. Bonnie. A shout out to Virtual Indian , thank you for all the support, these guys are great.

blunderbuss2, thank you, yes we are riding it, this will be no trailer queen. A few bugs, the aftermarket front brake cable fail, the decorative chrome wheel cover scratching into the spokes, nothing major. I ride a 46 chief also as my regular ride. Cheers, my friend as I see on your posts we are very much alike, maybe a brother from a different mother is the comment my wife used. I collected War memorabilia for 50 years now. Have cannons , use to shoot with a long rifle group here in Michigan. Take care

Roycroftbooksfromme1, thank you, kind'a over restored, He painted it originally a cobalt blue, it came back looking so deep purple, it was almost a girl color. So he decided he wanted it PT Crusher two tone. His bike, what do you say. Very Nice truck of yours I might add, my birth year also. Stay safe and ride well.

Fixing up a bike is a job that seems to get bigger by the day. Picked up an '04 hard-ley 883 Sportster a few days ago. Dutch girl didn't even wash it for 8ys. apparently. One of those rare surprises: After pressure washing, it hardly needs anything to do to it. Paint it & sell it !Got it for $1K ! I'll pop some before & after shots after its finished. What kind of cannons & long guns ?
